A half day trip to the town of Phalaborwa, where you can shop or just experience life in a small but modern South African town. You can walk around and enjoy the street life as well as the exotic shops in the square. If possible the trip is combined with a visit to the copper mine which offers a view of the second largest man made hole – the diameter and depth is almost 1 km each way. The mine has made Phalaborwa a rather wealthy town with many beautiful buildings.
